ISC West is the largest security industry trade show in the USA. This year over 29,000 security professionals attended to see new security products & technologies from over 1,000 exhibitors. Products on display spanned from access control to unmanned aerial vehicles (aka drones) with high-definition gyroscopic stabilizing cameras . . . even on display were drone killers. Amazing technology from security industry leaders, including of course, ZKTeco!

At ISC West, ZKTeco normally attracts over 1,000 visitors to our booth and 2017 was no different. This is why each year it needs employees from THREE ZKTeco branch offices to manage all those visitors. Attending the booth were ZKAccess (USA), ZKTeco Mexico and ZKTeco China . . . total 15+ employees. We also had help from our 30+ nation-wide manufacturers reps who visited the show and invited their customers for a tour of our booth. Also exhibiting at our booth were our technology partners Delta Turnstiles (makers of premium optical turnstiles who co-brand with ZKAccess) and C2P (software developers) who license to ZKAccess their middleware which allows ZKBioSecurity software to interface with Video Management Software (VMS) from Milestone and OnSSI. In fact we displayed so many products this year we actually required TWO booths to fit all our new products.  

Our “main” both exhibited our traditional access control products. And our 2nd booth (across the aisle) displayed our entrance control solutions consisting of turnstiles, License Plate Recognition (LPR) gate controllers and metal detectors.

Our products were also proudly on display at our partners’ booths. Amag Technology displayed our integrated OP-200 fingerprint reader, RS2 displayed several integrated Green Label biometric readers, and a few of our USA distributors exhibiting at the show also displayed our products. All our partners proudly displayed their well-deserved ZKAccess Authorized Partner plaques.

This year’s theme was “Innovation and Affordability”.  Our main booth exhibited our new Green Label Series hardware and ZKBioSecurity management software, VMS integrations with Milestone, ONSSI and Arteco, New face recognition technology (aka “Big Boss”) which works in almost all lighting conditions, New door controllers with palm, vein and iris recognition technologies, our biometric readers integrated with Lenel & Amag (model OP-200 fingerprint reader and model OP-400 face reader) and Schneider Electric & RS2 (made possible by ZKBioPack software) and our DIY affordable ML10 fingerprint door locks with Bluetooth.

Visiting our booth were both old and prospective new dealer customers, as well as distributors like ADI wanting to sell our products. Many of our competitors were also trying to sneak into our booth and learn why so many customers are excited about ZKTeco security products! We did our best to chase them out!

Resulting from the show were several large access control project opportunities introduced to us, requests for additional 3rd party integrations,  and meetings with global leaders including ADI (#1 electronic security distributor), Schneider Electric (global leader in environmental controls & building infrastructure) and Gunnebo (200-year old global leader in entrance controls & safes).
