In the afternoon meeting, Dr. Anil K. Jain (International biometric verification expert), Dr. Derrick Lim (Doctor of Chulalongkorn University), Professor Vutipong (Kasetsart University), Professor Mongkol (Asian Institute of Technology) shared to the guests their treasurable opinions and recommendations regarding the prosperity of Thailand’s biometric verification and the future orientation of development.
TSSA and TSIBA are non-profit organizations mainly found by ZKTeco, and are authorized by the Thai national safety department. They are non-profit organizations of enterprises in security field, biometric verification field, sales, applications, technical research, software and hardware integrated platform etc., and global and Thai research institutes, media etc., and are qualified as a social group legal person. At present the organizations have already built co-laboratories with related governmental departments, Michigan State University, Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University and the Ministry of Science, and are collaborating local advanced resources, with the Capital Bangkok as the center, bridging up various industries’ experience and talents, and build a 3-in-1 structure of Government-University-Civic Market for the security of Thai people. The organizations are having cooperation and exchange with experts and industry associations from over 10 countries including U.S., China, Spain, U.K., Turkey, Egypt, Indonesia, Russia, Mexico, India and South Africa etc., formulating a professional organization which face the Thailand-ASEAN-Global Market.
As the major organizer and core member of the conference, ZKTeco has presented to Royal Thai Police a set of Car Plate Recognition Standalone (LPR) devices, and has presented FV350 finger vein access control device to related government department for the development of Thailand’s security industry.
